Erik Johansson, från bolaget Omnisiens, erbjuder dig som medlem i SIG Security en unik möjlighet att få uppleva en spännande, lärorik och rolig övning med fokus på cybersäkerhet genom spelet KIPS. Så boka eftermiddagen den 23 maj!
KIPS är en världsledande simuleringsplattform för cybersäkerhet, som baseras på ‘gamification’ för ökad förståelse och en snabbare inlärning. KIPS handlar inte om att träna djuplodande IT-tekniska kunskaper utan att få en bredare förståelse, för vikten av informationssäkerhetsarbetet när det sker en IT-attack. Spelet går ut på att deltagarna testar, hur de skulle hantera ett hacker-angrepp på ett verklighetstroget sätt. I grupper ska man under tidspress lösa realistiska problem, som påverkar en simulerad organisations rykte samt förmåga att spara/tjäna pengar och/eller leverera en tjänst.
KIPS-övningen tar cirka två timmar att genomföra och inrymmer introduktion, själva spelandet och en kortare analys, å självklart fika. Det finns flera varianter med anpassade scenarier för handelsbolag, industriella processanläggningar, finansiella verksamheter, e-myndigheter samt inom kort även för transportsektorn.

Marta Piekarska is a researcher at Telekom Innovation Laboratories and a security architect at Blockstream, where she focusses on user-informed privacy and security, and applications of blockchain technology beyond cryptocurrency. At Deutsche Telekom she was the lead architect on the Future of Mobile Privacy, a collaboration with Mozilla and Deutsche Telekom improving Firefox OS.

William Van Der Merwe is a business developer at Palisade, a supplier of software for statistical calculations of risk. He will show some hands-on examples on how risk is being calculated – even statistically simulated – in the insurance industry and the oil&gas industry.

Douglas Hubbard, risk analyst of worldwide fame, will deliver some thought-provoking messages about how the IT security industry needs to rethink the way it performs risk assessments.
