Vi har fått en inbjudan om en intressant demo från Blekinge tekniska högskola
Six teams of students from the Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH.se) are going to present their security projects. This year the students were proposed to create a basic simulation of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) that represent Swedish critical infrastructure and come up with potential attack scenarios that they will be presenting during the demo session on December 14, 9:00 in Zoom for our guests from the industry.
Nowadays, critical infrastructure has become an inevitable part of National (Cyber) Security. Especially, in the light of ongoing digitalization and the Russian aggression in the cyberspace. For example, Russia's GRU military intelligence group called Sandworm attacked nearly two dozen energy companies in Denmark in May 2023 forcing several of them to disable their internet connections (https://www.bloomberg.com/news/newsletters/2023-11-15/russia-s-sandworm-linked-to-unprecedented-danish-energy-hack, https://sektorcert.dk/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/SektorCERT-The-attack-against-Danish-critical-infrastructure-TLP-CLEAR.pdf).
